Who Are We?
The company began in 1997 and became one of the first in New Zealand to receive accreditation as a Master Electrician.
As we all know there are a lot of hurdles to jump when starting a company and being more electrical orientated rather than business orientated struggled for a few years, the company slowly grew with our first apprentice “super Jos” and our Trilect Automation partner Mark Barden. Mark brought a fresh approach to the company with the thought of better things and better ways to treat the customer and the company started to run more like a business.
Since then we have moved from a home run business to 21 staffed teams running very efficiently out of our East Tamaki Warehouse on Torrens Rd. We started small and we fully realise what it takes to keep our customers happy. This knowledge and attention have enabled us to grow into a medium-sized business. Now as we expand further, we continue to focus on our customers more than ever, as we know that you, our customer, are our business lifeline.

To get our project started, we needed to do a huge renovation and we only have 6 weeks to do it to become licensed. Peter and his team came out and did all the sparky works for us. It was a huge huge task to complete within the time frame that we had. However, it didn't seem matter with the Trilect team at all.
